I was writing alot four years ago. Here is one I did for dragonfly.
Dragonfly, you flutter in my soul. When I am happy I show my colors green, crimson, yellow, and blue. When I am sad you fly me away to a place in my mind. We can soar to a different place and time, somewhere I have never been before. Somewhere I would like to be in the possible future. Or a place in the past that I would like to live in again. You are always there, ready to go at a moments notice. The visions we share, the dreams only known between us. At night when bad dreams come, I can see your wings flutter, and away we go, to visit my grandmother, to see a lost love, or imagine a love that might soon come to be. Only you know my heart, and my soul, We are one in the same.
